My friend, Jesse, and I started WeWork Labs with the WeWork founders, Adam and Miguel in 2011. Back then our goal was simply to create a place in that first WeWork location to support the NYC startup ecosystem and help early-stage founders. WeWork and WeWork Labs became much more than that over the years. Ten years later we created the WeWork Alumni Fund as a way to continue supporting early-stage startups founded by WeWork alumni.
